Milly Dyer

Milly is a painter based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her contemporary work and use of mixed media, gesso, acrylics and oils is influenced by the 3-dimensional art forms of pottery and glass she has also explored. Her love of colour and texture shines through her creativity. 

 

Some paintings represent a specific place, others an imaginative landscape, and more recently even an occasional hare or fox.

 

Milly holds a great respect for the environment and the great outdoors, and the use of her campervan aids her escapism. Her journeys and adventures: walking, skiing, cycling,  kyaking and wild swimming all inspire her work back in her studio.

 

Milly exhibits and sells her work in galleries, shops and online. Her commissioned pieces can be found throughout the UK and abroad.
